Texas couple enjoying the fall colors at Rocky Mountain ranch destination wedding.
My husband and I love the mountains and knew we wanted to get married in Steamboat Springs, one of our favorite ski towns. Since our home is in Texas, we booked our wedding and reception venue based on the pictures of the beautiful scenery and the owner, Kathie being very responsive and super friendly! When we finally made it out to the venue, the pictures didn’t do it justice! The mountain views and the aspens were breathtaking, and our wedding day was perfect! So many great memories for us to cherish forever, thanks La Joya!

Carol & Eric’s Fall Wedding at La Joya Dulce: A Texas Love Story Meets Colorado Magic

When Carol and Eric set their sights on a dream wedding, they aimed high—literally. Hailing from Houston, Texas, this adventurous duo chose the stunning La Joya Dulce ranch in Steamboat Springs, Colorado, as the backdrop for their fall nuptials.

A Leap of Faith and a Breathtaking Reward

Booking a wedding venue sight unseen is a bold move, but Carol and Eric were captivated by the picturesque photos and the warm, responsive communication from owner Kathie. Their first in-person glimpse of the venue came just days before the wedding, and it exceeded all expectations. The vibrant fall foliage and sweeping mountain vistas provided a breathtaking setting that photos simply couldn't capture.

A Celebration to Remember

Their wedding day unfolded like a scene from a romantic film. The golden hues of autumn enveloped the ranch, creating an intimate and magical atmosphere. From heartfelt vows to joyous celebrations, every moment was infused with love and the natural beauty of Colorado's landscape.
